Designed for professionals working across registration, regulatory affairs, legal, marketing, R&D, logistics and other functions, the comprehensive workshop combines regulatory education, direct engagement with experts and hands-on learning to strengthen participants’ understanding of the pesticide registration process.

Attendees will also gain an overview of pesticide registration, including how to identify regulated products, key considerations in pesticide product development, types of pesticides and requirements for importing and exporting pesticide products.

On day two, attendees will take a deeper dive into pesticide devices, PRIA and code selection, application packages, reporting and recordkeeping, inert ingredients and tolerance petitions, data compensation, registration review, FIFRA enforcement and state pesticide regulation. Attendees will also explore emerging issues, including Durnell v. Monsanto, Spanish-language labeling and PFAS.

On the final day, participants can apply what they’ve learned throughout the workshop during an interactive practicum where attendees will use provided materials to build a pesticide registration application.

Throughout the workshop, representatives from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will provide updates from the Antimicrobials Division, Biopesticides & Pollution Prevention Division, and Registration Division, as well as the latest developments and features available through MyPest.
